Echo Lake State Park

Echo Lake State Park -  If you're looking to go for a swim, cool off by the lake, take a hike, have a picnic or just kick back and read a book, this is the place to do it.  Rent a canoe, kayak or paddle boat, it's a great place for kids on the beach, swings and play structures.   Grassy expanses of lawn for frisbee, boat rentals, grills and restrooms.

There is a fee to enter the grounds and it's worth it.

Woodward Reservoir

Woodward Reservoir - A jewel to both look at, listen to, and swim & kayak and canoe in. Surrounded by verdant woods and mountain peaks, they both are home to numerous waterfowl, especially loons.
